On Survey Road in Elk Grove, Lodge #2577 has built a reputation that 36 reviewers and counting can confirm: this is a place that actually shows up. Members have rolled up their sleeves for Wilton Animal Rescue, hosted Eagle Scout courts of honor, and thrown open the kitchen for family reunions that needed real space and real infrastructure, not a rented banquet hall with a warming tray.

The lodge itself is sized for serious gatherings. The main hall handles large crowds without feeling cramped, and full kitchen access means your group can plate a proper meal rather than unbox catering. That combination of space, equipment, and willing hands is rarer than it sounds, and it is exactly why community organizations keep coming back.

Membership in BPOE Lodge #2577 connects you to something larger than any single event. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has operated across America since 1868, and this Elk Grove chapter carries that tradition forward through scholarships, veterans support, and civic programs that quietly strengthen Sacramento's southern suburbs year after year.

What We Offer

The lodge offers event venue rental for family celebrations, organizational meetings, fundraising dinners, and milestone ceremonies. The full-service kitchen is available to rental groups, giving event organizers the freedom to cook, cater, or coordinate food service on their own terms.

Membership benefits extend well beyond access to the hall. Members tap into a national network of lodges, participate in youth scholarship programs, support veterans initiatives, and join a social calendar that keeps the lodge active throughout the year. Lodge members also volunteer directly at community events, as groups like Wilton Animal Rescue discovered when members stepped into the kitchen and helped run the evening from start to finish.

For civic and nonprofit organizations seeking an affordable, capable venue in the Elk Grove area, Lodge #2577 is worth a direct conversation. The combination of square footage, kitchen facilities, parking, and a membership community willing to pitch in makes this one of the more practical event resources on the south side of Sacramento.

"These guys were great! They hosted Wilton Animal Rescue's fund easier. They let us use the lodge and it's kitchen for our dinner set up. Several members volunteered in the kitchen and helped us get over 90 dinners cooked, bagged and ready for pickup. Thank you so much!!"

"The local Sacramento small High Schools held their prom for 2017 here. It has a large space for the dance/dinner. It also has a wonderful rose garden for before photos. A great venue at a pretty great price."
